A one-of-a-kind artwork.
Designed and handmade in Margate.
'Noren Noren' is an ongoing series of textile works. Inspired by the Korean tradition of Bojagi. Each piece reimagines the Japanese Noren: a soft boundary, a shifting screen, to hang in a doorway, a window, or as a wall piece.
Colour palettes draw from Japanese traditions and particularly the colour research of Sanzo Wada, founder of the Japan Standard Color Association in 1927 (present-day Japan Color Research Institute).
This is an origional piece available via selected stockists.
